Shelia M. Jackson,  author of "My Journey" grew up in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Jackson  received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, and her Masters of Business Administration from Aurora University.

After the loss of her grandmother, Jackson sought to assist others in similar situations and founded Journey On as a way to both reflect on her own grief, and to provide comfort for others experiencing grief and loss as well.

Jackson currently resides in the Western suburbs of Chicago, where she enjoys volunteering in her community and spending time with her friends and family.
